Every so often the Disciples of Jesus Ministry hosts a Walking with Jesus Day Hike Retreat for both the young adults (ages 18-30) and adults (ages 30+). The hike for the young adults is about 8 to 10 miles. In previous years, these hikes were at Stevens Trail in Colfax, CA (an 8 mile intermediate hike) and Mount Tallac in South Lake Tahoe, CA (a 10 mile advanced hike). The retreat for the adults is casual walk in the park at Peña Adobe in Vacaville, CA. This hike is about 2 miles or so with frequent breaks for reflections and discussions about our walk with Jesus. We will pray, laugh, and be inspire by each other testimonies and reflections. |
